On the 5th- 6th of September Stage 3 attended an overnight excursion to the Lutanda Yarramunda Camp. Throughout term 2 stage 3 have been learning about team building and student leadership.
Throughout this camp students and staff had to work together through fun activities such as rope climbing courses, archery, cooking and flying foxes. Each activity required students to demonstrate the leadership skills they learned in class as well as their key communication skills whilst working in a team environment.
Staff and students thoroughly enjoyed this excursion as many friendships were formed or strengthened and students learnt key life skills to take to their day to day lives.
The excursion was an enjoyable experience for both the students and teachers taking away many enjoyable memories

We had so much fun today on our Christmas Mufti Day! 🎄🎅What an exciting way to spend the first day of December! It was so nice to see and hear about all our families who have also donated to our appeal to help purchase presents for those children less fortunate than us this Christmas season. There is still time to donate- and we look forward to spreading joy this Advent! 💜🙏

Congratulations to Aanya who went and represented St John's at the CSPD Gymnastics Gala Day! 🤸♀️ We are so proud of how well you did and how beautifully you represented St John's! 🤩 Our superstar gymnast came away with a gold in vault, a silver in mini tramp and a bronze in her static routine. This meant Aanya received a bronze medal overall on the day! 🥉 Great work Aanya!

Kindergarten had an exciting day today on Seesaw! They learnt about Area in maths and went on a journey to find some objects that had a larger, smaller and the same area as their original object. They learnt about superimposing, which means placing the objects on top of each other to see which has a bigger area. They then used seesaw to capture their learning! 🤩📱
