Our wonderful community preparing to march in the Parade
Our children, parents and staff showed that they are made of ‘stern stuff’ as they walked the Riverstone Parade in the rain.
The day consisted of various marches in Riverstone, followed by performances and stalls.
We would also like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to Mrs Noden for preparing the children for their performance at the Festival. The audience appreciated their enthusiasm for singing. It was a stirring performance
Naturally, a number of people were needed on Saturday to setup and decorate the gazebo; set out the food items and serve; as well as a number of volunteers to bake and package the ‘goodies’. Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way at the festival. Your support contributed to the success of all the events.

This morning we welcomed Warren Kirby MP Member for Riverstone to share and see our musical garden. Mr Kirby supported St John’s with a community grant as part of bettering community facilities and our students have loved using the garden each day. Thank you Mr Kirby for supporting St John’s and improving our playground facilities. 🎶

Today our students enjoyed pancakes as part of our Catholic Tradition, Shrove Tuesday. 🥞 Shrove Tuesday was traditionally a day of feasting before Lent. It was a way to use up unused items in the pantry before fasting began. Thank you for helping us raise money for Caritas!

Today Stage 3 attended Encounter, a day of faith & formation with other schools across the Parramatta Diocese. The students enjoyed the chance to connect to the Catholic Faith through music, dance and listening. Gen Bryant
